Den 23. oktober kan du komme med til Efterårskonference om LCA og energirenovering af bygninger af høj arkitektonisk kvalitet. Konferencen holdes i samarbejde mellem InnoBYG og Dansk-Tysk Handelskammer.

Aarhus sees a green future ahead by Karen Margrethe Høj Madsen, Project Manager Aarhus Municipality Aarhus Municipality has launched a variety of initiatives to set an example against the increasing CO2 emissions. This is illustrated with the objective of Aarhus as an urban community to become CO2 neutral by the year 2030. The initiatives include a large energy optimization project for almost half a billion DKK and several spectacular new buildings including a zero-energy office building (perhaps one of Denmark's first). Furthermore, the Municipality has just adopted some fairly strict guidelines for their own buildings ranging from new construction to just changing a single window and they also use a tool that can help prioritizing sustainable choices. Aarhus Municipality is also working within urban planning, and the City Council has adopted a proposal which says that new construction in all new urban areas and in all existing urban areas undergoing change, must be low energy of a class higher than what the building code requires. |
